The lecture hall in the Hessian State Museum is part of the museum's founding history and can be accessed through a specially created entrance on the east side of the building. Since the museum's establishment at the beginning of the 20th century, the hall was intended to be used for educational events that convey the contents of the museum to the public as well as broader topics.
Today, the lecture hall mainly serves as a venue for lectures or conferences. Still preserved from the founding period is a regular lecture series organized by the Kurhessian Society for Science and Art on various topics.
