On the edge of the Karlsaue, the botanical masterpiece of Siebenbergen Isle awaits to be discovered.
From 1834, the Electoral Court Garden Director Wilhelm Hentze transformed the island of Siebenbergen, which had been created around 100 years earlier, into a landscape garden. The passionate plant collector created a masterpiece with diverse flora. In addition to a variety of different perennials, spring flowers and exotic shrubs of all sizes grow - up to mighty trees.
From spring to autumn, island visitors experience wonderful sights: in spring, the explosion of colors from flowers and shrubs, from May the blooming of rhododendrons, and in autumn the magnificent coloring of the leaves. A rich variety of birds enlivens the island. Hidden corners alternate with views all the way to the Hercules statue.
