Together with the Romanian artist Dan Perjovschi, the space for documenta fifteen in the exhibition "about: documenta" was newly arranged. With his equally critical and humorous stenograms about the crises and conflicts of our time, Perjovschi had created a central work of documenta fifteen in 2022, among other things, on the columns of the Portikus of the Fridericianum. In "about: documenta," Perjovschi now designed a wall with his comments on the past exhibition summer.

The permanent exhibition "about: documenta" at the Neue Galerie provides an overview of around 70 years of documenta history. It takes visitors along important, central artworks, scenographies, models, films, images, and documents on a journey through the history of the art exhibition, which can always be read as a seismograph of artistic, social, and political events. The presentation, now expanded to include the latest documenta edition, sheds light on documenta fifteen through selected artistic projects.
