In the Kassel collection alone, over 60,000 watercolors, pencil sketches, gouaches, copper engravings, woodcuts, posters, illustrated books, and much more are carefully preserved in the depot for generations. Paper works are extremely light-sensitive. Therefore, they are only displayed during special exhibitions. However, we warmly invite you to view our light-sensitive treasures up close without glass and frames in the study room of the Graphic Collection in the church wing of Wilhelmshöhe Palace - to marvel, learn, and enjoy.
