It is a globally unique monument of baroque art: the marble bath created 300 years ago by the sculptor Pierre Étienne Monnot for Landgrave Carl. It can be visited in real life. But it is also magnificent to view virtually: since autumn 2020, the small but art historically significant room has a digital twin. In the virtual 3D model of the marble bath, one can freely roam around or navigate to a whole range of self-selected destinations. In addition, there is a wealth of information about the structure and its rich furnishings.
The 3D visit to the Marble Bath works with any browser on smartphone, tablet, and PC. It is a fascinating experience - and the perfect preparation for a visit to an extraordinary piece of art!
