Time Travel: The City of the Past

In the state museum, children playfully explore how the everyday life of people looked over 200 years ago and what has changed from then to now. They make amazing discoveries: complicated machines that nobody knows about today. A shopkeeper's store that looks completely different from the supermarket around the corner. Or a giant trophy that people supposedly used as a drinking cup in the past. From the 19th to the 21st century - in which time did people live the best?

Stone Age People: Living in the Cave

On level 1 “Under Our Feet” of the state museum, children follow the tracks of Stone Age people. They explore the beginnings of human culture and become experts on Neanderthals & Co: How did the first people protect themselves against the bitter cold? Where did they sleep, what did they eat? What tools and weapons did they develop? And what did children probably play back then?
