The aim of the research project is to enrich and publish further the Paul Balin wallpapers published in the exhibition catalog Schöner Schein 2016, which are still found today in magnificent palaces from Barcelona to Newport. This will provide valuable insights into the buyers and the functional context of these luxury wallpapers.
